Hotel Forum Roma
Project - Hotel Forum Roma
The property
In the heart of Rome, just a few steps from the Colosseum, Hotel Forum is a 4-star superior hotel with 78 rooms housed in an 18th-century building. A prestigious property frequented by diplomats, politicians, and international personalities, where historical elegance and high service standards coexist within a unique and protected architectural setting.
A long-lasting partnership
The relationship between Hotel Forum and HCS began in 2012 with the first installation of the room management system. In 2025, on the occasion of the Rome Jubilee, the property chose to evolve further by upgrading the entire system to the new HCS VISION platform. A long-standing client that continues to grow together with us.
The challenge
The building, originally part of a convent, features a highly complex layout: mezzanines, irregular corridors and ancient walls of varying thickness distributed across four floors. A context where any traditional installation would have been complex and highly invasive:
- The impossibility of carrying out invasive construction works;
- The need to preserve original walls, stuccoes and flooring;
- Extremely tight timelines related to the Jubilee;
- A fully operational hotel throughout the installation, with occupied rooms.
The solution
HCS VISION was implemented through its fully wireless architecture, integrating seamlessly into the existing structure without any invasive intervention.
The upgrade was completed within just a few days, without interrupting hotel operations or affecting the guest experience.
Results:
- Complete system upgrade completed in just a few days;
- Installation carried out without construction works, preserving original finishes and historical elements;
- Full operational continuity maintained throughout the installation;
- Energy consumption reduction of up to 47%;
- Centralized and intelligent room management.
The Hotel Forum preserves its historic charm while HCS VISION operates discreetly in the
background, ensuring comfort, efficiency and total control.
